Still Cam

PRIVACY POLICY

Still Cam doesn't collect your data.

Effective: April 30, 2026.

This is the privacy policy for Still Cam, a camera app for iPhone. It describes what information the app handles, what permissions it asks for, and what we do with any of it.

The short version: nothing leaves your phone. We do not run servers that receive your data. We do not analytics-track you. We do not advertise. We do not share, sell, or profile.

1. Information we collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit, or receive any personal information. There is no account, no login, and no user profile. We do not have a database with your data because we do not have a database.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting that includes user content, or any tracking technology.

2. Permissions the app asks for

The app requests three iOS permissions, each used only on your device for the function you're using.

3. The photos and videos you take

Photos and videos captured with Still Cam are stored on your device, in your iOS Photos library, inside an album titled "Still Cam". They are subject to your iCloud Photos settings, the same as any other photo on your device. We do not have access to them.

Sharing a photo from inside the app uses the iOS Share Sheet, which is the standard system feature operated by you. We do not see what you share or where you share it.

4. In-app purchases

Still Cam offers optional subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Apple handles your payment information; we never see it. We receive only an anonymous entitlement token from StoreKit indicating that a valid purchase exists.

Apple's privacy policy applies to the purchase transaction itself: apple.com/legal/privacy.

5. Third-party services

The app does not use third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that collect personal data. The only network communication the app performs is with Apple's StoreKit servers to validate purchases. That communication is governed by Apple's privacy policy linked above.

6. Children's privacy

Still Cam is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information at all. Parents who wish to restrict a child's use of the camera or in-app purchases should use Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing controls.

7. Data retention

Because we do not collect data, there is nothing for us to retain. Photos and videos you take are retained on your device under your control. You can delete them at any time in the Photos app, the same way you delete any iOS photo.

8. Your rights

Where applicable laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar) grant you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, those rights are honored by default in Still Cam: there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or restrict because we do not process personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store listing's privacy disclosures.
